'95 CBR 900rr Paint

So for my first season of racing I ran an all black 900rr in the Super Dino class. :ride

Well after the season I thought that all of my mechanical problems were over and I should paint it. This way when the wifey and professional photogs shot the bike it would be more visiable.
Something like this. :cool

So I then decide that I would follow the thread in the Garage on how to rattle bomb the paint. I started with the belly pan and worked my way up the body. Each piece came out a little better than the last. I then borrowed a proper spray gun and shot the tank and then had my neighbor shoot the clear.

It is still in need of some stickers to finish it off but I thought I would share.

Now if I can just get the engine repaired all would be well.

Rad. I think one of the cooest features of the 900rr are the fairing holes. It's good to see some color contrast in those areas.

Thank you all for the kudo's. It was fun learning how to paint. Also to mimic a cool paint job. I really liked how the belly pan came out. :cool I found the "ENI" stickers but not the correct size, so "AFM" worked out well.

This bikes engine block is cracked. So i am planning on running the R6 again this year. I just have to wait till the second half of season due to medical complications. I'm on anti coagulants until June and dont want to risk crashing again until then.
