Hi y'all,
I have a 2017 KTM RC390 that I picked up earlier in the year from an auction, it was in abnormally perfect condition - only a couple very minor items: the clutch lever was broken and the front parking light had a crack on the lens. The kickstand was also loose (common RC390 issue, not related to an accident). My hypothesis is that it was dropped at a standstill (potentially fell from the loose stand).
I believe this bike was incorrectly sent to auction instead of repaired (some insurance companies send anything that is claimed to auction and never touch bike repairs - no matter what). Or the loose kickstand was incorrectly diagnosed as frame damage (as loose kickstands after an accident can often indicate frame damage).
I replaced the bolts that hold the kickstand just in case and re-torqued them. The clutch lever and front parking light were also replaced.
The bike has 3.5k miles and is in overall excellent condition. Pricing it at $3.8k which is about 25% off market price.
Will get better pictures when I'm back in town:
