The KTM Adventure Rider Rally is designed for KTM 640, 690, 950, 990 and 1190 Adventure and Enduro owners but is open to riders on all brands of street-legal motorcycles. I received the e-mail from them the other day. I'm most likely going to head out...NM is on my list of must see places.

Probably in. Did Steamboat Springs KTM last year and Bend, Oregon previous to that. Getting there is 90% best part and the rest is kick ass fun!

Is riding out there fun? Looks like 1200 miles of freeway buzz. Though it might be cool to come back around through Colorado or something.

I am seriously considering it, especially if we can come up with a good loop there and back. Should be lots of great options. Everyone want to do a little homework and throw out some ideas?

Lots of interesting places to ride between here and Taos. Carrizo Plain -> Kings Canyon NP-> Death Valley -> Mojave -> *cough* Vegas *cough* -> Grand Canyon -> Grand-Staircase Escalante -> ??? . I'd imagine one could string together a pretty awesome ride if so inclined.

Just picked up a 990 Adventure so I'm lurking with great curiosity.... I need to get some shorter rides in so I can figure out tools and gear necessities for longer rides before this though.

Thanks Leo, I'm planning to join the ride tomorrow. Just hadn't decided if I wanted to slab it down to Fairfield or go through winters and try to intercept the group at the corners

Is anyone planning on doing this? I'd love to get in on a trip that's already planned but don't think I've got the time to organize the trip myself at this point.
