We are proud to announce our Fifth Annual BARF Rydther Rally - Hawthorne. Come out and join us for three days of riding, sightseeing, and eating fun. Meet new friends, and catch-up with old ones. If you can only manage a hall pass for two days, no problem – book a room for Saturday, and ride out to the dinner gathering that evening in Hawthorne. On Sunday, ride home on some of the best mountain twisties in California with your fellow BARFers.

Dates: September 7th ~ 9th, 2012 (Fri., Sat., and Sun.)
Destination: Hawthorne, NV
Estimated 3-Day Mileage: 800~1,000 miles

Please note that this is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no officially designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with pre-determined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The official daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers and BARFettes along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their own choosing, and at their own risk.

What’s a Rally?
This is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with pre-determined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers and BARFettes along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their choosing, and at their own risk.

You are responsible for yourself
Riding a motorcycle is dangerous. You are responsible for your own safety. Proper riding gear, valid CDL/M1, vehicle registration and proof of insurance are highly recommended. You are also responsible for the good operating condition of your motorcycle. The good condition includes general mechanical condition, as well as the condition of wear items such as chains and sprockets, brake pads, and tires. Having your trip interrupted by a mechanical failure or balding tires hundres of miles away from home can suck badly. Triple-check your gear and equipment. In short, YOU are the Captain of your own ship.

Expenses
You are responsible for your own expenses. Budget accordingly for lodging, park fee(s), gas, food, beverages, and anything you may need along the way.
