Hi BARF,
Another ridiculous deal. This is for a 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 600 I bought from Geico. It was a theft recovery, no evidence of being crashed, ignition barrel was damaged.
I set out to bring it back to perfect condition. I think I went too far. GSX-Rs shouldn't look this nice. The 2009 model also introduced the different throttle maps / modes (A, B, C). So if you're a new rider you can put it in C and work your way up to A (but really maybe you should get a Ninja 300 instead...).
- New OEM Suzuki ignition, seat lock, and 2 keys (not aftermarket garbage)
- New stator cover gasket
- New upper triple clamp
- Chain reconditioned (cleaned, scrubbed, lubed - looks like new now)
- Complete bodywork replaced (front fairing had some discoloration - likely spilled brake fluid, took it way too far and just replaced everything)
- Tank re-painted by Kurt - best in the biz
- Brand new Sportec tires
- Fender eliminator
- YOSH PIPE (still has the cat, so it's not obnoxious, sounds smooth and delicious)
- I have the passenger seat and pegs as well
- Oil and Filter changed
- 20k miles
As part of the process, I had the CHP inspection completed, brake and light inspection, and received a new title (salvage due to the theft history) with plate and current registration. She's ready to go.
BARF special price: $4.8k firm af. I'll consider supermoto or other trades.
Let me know if you have any questions, PM works great.
