Selling my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14 with 16700 Miles for $7200 (title in hand). I bought it with the intention of doing week-long road trips but haven’t really had time (or inclination recently) to do it. It’s become a city-commuter and I need something more suited to that role.
This is an excellent sport touring motorcycle with plenty of power from its 1352 CC motor, pretty darned good handling with its USD forks and remote-preload adjustable shock, excellent braking from its radial mount calipers and radial brake master, and great buffet-free wind protection from electrically adjustable windscreen and generous fairings.
Assorted goodies already on the bike (so you don’t have to):
-Heated grips (Oxford)
-Leo Vince slip-on muffler
-Givi Top-case
-After market top rack – beefy aluminum vs. flimsy plastic stock piece.
-Techspec tank grips
-Rear hugger
-Radiator guard (Cox)
-Frame sliders, front axle-sliders (not in picture), and rear swing-arm sliders (ProjectD)
-ECU re-flashed by Dynotronics – butt-dyno says much stronger mid-range.
-G2 Ergo throttle tube – not really needed after reflash.
-Comes with all the stock stuff
Service
-Recall work done: saddle bag latch; headlight adjustment knobs.
-Oil and filter changed every 3 thousand miles
-Most recent service: New BMC Air filter, New Front tire (Michelin PR2), New Front brake pads
I did have a get-off back in Jan – new rear tire + cold/damp morning = low-side at 5mph in a left hand turn. Original GSG frame slider failed (and recently replaced by ProjectD sliders). See pictures for fairing rash. I did some minor cosmetic touch-up to it. I did not have the saddle-bags on when this happened.
Test ride only if you have cash (ie. You drop it you bought it).
