I picked up an 07 CBR with what appears to be an aftermarket tail light on it with integrated turn signals. It looks like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CBR-600-RR-...s-2007-2008-2009-2010-2011-2012-/180749079721
My issue is that when I apply the front or rear brake lever, the brake light does not emit at all. So it's practically a running parking light with working left/right turn signals. Doesn't help its a smoked taillight as well:thumbdown. I looked into the wiring a bit and its a mickey mouse job that was done with electrical tape. I'm not good in the electrical dept so I'm reaching out for any BARFer whose familiar with electrical systems on motorcycles. My reimbursement is lunch/beer on me or I can forward you some cash after all said and done. I am available this Saturday all afternoon to evening and I am located in Alameda, CA.
