Slow Goat
Fun Junkie
Bought this last year from a BARFer with intentions to track it but.....
back surgery last year put the kibosh to that plan - so it’s up for sale.
2000 Yamaha YZF-R6 with 20,560 miles. In good condition, mostly in stock form. Set up for the track but could be easily returned to Street mode, just replace mirrors and signals. Starts cold on the first time, engine pulls strong.
Good Stuff:
1. Brembo 19x20 Radial front master cylinder, shorty lever, banjo-bolt light switch and Spiegler stainless brake lines.
2. Rebuilt calipers with OEM parts and EBC HH sintered pads.*
3. Rebuilt carbs*
4. Delrin frame sliders and metal swingarm sliders/jack spools.
5. New sprockets and DID ERV3 520 chain*
6. New starter relay.
7. Race fairing with full belly pan.
8. NRC race engine covers.
9. Mirror hole covers and new OEM windscreen.
10. Yamaha factory full cover for those without garages.
* repaired/replaced by the guy I bought it from in 2018.
Bike was low-sided on the right side by a previous, previous owner and the fairing and tank were damaged. BUT! A brand new tank is included, see below.
The passenger seat was torn and was repaired with tape, a replacement seat from eBay is a cheap fix.
Aftermarket fairing was painted by PO but looks good from five feet.
Has Pirelli Supercorsa SPs on it but manufacture date is 2012, so tires need replacing.
Could be returned to Street form by adding turn signals (not included) and mirrors (included).
Bike has been on paid non-operational status since 2017.
Included extras:
New Gas Tank
Extra Rear Wheel
Side Mirrors
Clutch Cable
Front and Rear Sprockets w/two DID chain links
Four sets of new in-package Brake Pads
New Starter Relay
New Starter
Fuel and Oil Filters
Bike needs nothing but new fluids and probably tires and you’re ready for when Trackdays return.
