1996 Ducati Monster 900 for sale ~ PRICE DROP TO $2000
Clean title, currently registered non-op. No back fees owed. Oddly enough never been dropped. 39K on the clock.
This is my personal 1996 Ducati Monster 900. I purchased it new from Honda Penn Ducati in 1997.
The obvious, the rear subframe has been cut down, I've fabricated a custom seat cowl, and the paint has been stripped from the topside of the tank and allowed to surface rust. (Still painted on the underside, no leaks)
I stored this in 2009 when I started racing and started buying/collecting parts a couple years ago to put it back on the road. I started it every couple months and warmed it up just to make sure it stayed fresh.
I started pulling it apart this year with the intention of getting it back on the road but I could use the money for my business now and I don't see myself riding again any time soon. So it's partially assembled, but all the parts are included.
~ The engine has the V2 heads and cams from the factory. Engine turns free, has good compression, cylinders were coated with oil when parked. Valves are in spec.
~ Clutch has low miles on it, I swapped it out before I stored the bike.
~ 39mm Sudco/Keihin FCRs
~ Dyna Coils
~ TAG fatbar conversion
~ CRG shorty levers
~ Ducati Performance damper
~ Billet wishbone on the rear suspension
~ 10" TBR slip-ons
~ Yoyodyne slave cylinder
~ Corsa ignition modules
