bike turns off at 150 and starts again when it cools down.
im guessing is the thermostat. what u guys think?

I act my shoe size
if it's a hard shutoff like hitting a switch, electrical. start checking battery, regulator, rectifier, connections, pulling fuses, etc.

my internet guess anyway

If you can get your hands on a comparative temp-resistance chart, you can ohm out the senser. If the senser leads aren’t hard to get to it’s probably the easiest thing to do and no matter what, you want to know if it’s good or bad. While it might turn out that the thermostat IS bad, it should be able to run at a much higher temp, is the fan coming on?
