“Death Wish”, when movie critics go full retard.

I was planning to see it regardless(going tonight), but now it’ll be even more entertaining! :laughing

Eli Roth's Death Wish remake, in addition to being completely f**king pointless, is a dangerous celebration of gun culture. It's NRA agitprop. It's a racist, nihilistic, middle-aged white-man wish-fulfillment fantasy. It is also a terrible f**king movie, an irresponsible piece of s**t, a gangrenous exploding pustule on the hairy-ass of GOP gun-nut ideology wrapped in d**k sweat and the American flag.

I’ve had two cars stolen in my life so far. The cops did nothing. Acted like it was an inconvenience for them to come to my house to take my report.:rolleyes

Of course we have the cops example of Parkland school to show us how efficient they can be.........oh......wait.........:rofl

Hollywood needs to stop rehashing old movies. Charles Bronson was the shit and his movies should be left alone. What's next a remake of Bullitt with Tom Hanks?

Movie critics go full retard on pretty much every movie these days. I don't even bother anymore with reading movie reviews.

It's not about having a well thought out review anymore, just say whatever you have to say to get more website clicks.

Rolls with it...
If it ain't got Charles Bronson in it, it ain't "Death Wish", it ain't worth payin' $12 bucks to see, and it sure as hell weren't worth remakin'..... :x

I'll pay to see a remake of "Casablanca" with Justin Bieber as Rick before I'd consider this pointless exercise of film making. H-wood needs to quit fucking with classics.

What, they didn't send a full CSI team out for you with super hot women in lab coats and dudes in expensive sunglasses? :wow

There is NO justice.

Just change a few words and it seems like you could apply that same review snippet to Biker Boyz or Torque or any number of shitty pro football movies. The big studios reliably run roughshod over any subculture filling the stories with clichés and stereotypes.

Some of the reviews call director Eli Roth "right-leaning". When Tarantino makes a gorefest sprinkled with n-words, it's art.

I'd like to see curbs on movie violence.

I really liked Unbreakable.

Also like the idea of people rejecting movies on the grounds that it's harmful to society. However, you just say, "we're not reviewing this movie because it glorifies violence and vigilantism" and not all that emo crybaby nonsense.

That's hecause tarantino has talent and makes good movies. Roth makes garbage. And taratino gets plenty of flak for his films.
