Purchased off Craigslist on a whim. It had supposedly been stored in a shed since the late 70's, but it looked like it had been dug out of the bottom of the ocean.
I probably should have parted or scrapped it, but I like a challenge. (I can get a little obsessive about my projects.)
After many, many hours, cans of PB'laster, plenty of skinned knuckles, some backyard machining (aka, hacksaw and a bastard file), and with lots of help from the kindly folks on Hondatwins.net and Bay Area Vintage Riders:
The build spanned about 18 months. Being a cheapskate, the thing I'm most proud of is that the project, including acquisition cost of the rusted hulk, was just under $1500.
Biggest compliment was when someone thought it was Gabe's bike one day when I was at Addiction Motors.
