WSBK and MotoGP on TV

Well that would be good news for me as I think I can get NBC Sports, but DTV and BeIN aren't talking to each other, so I lost that.

That’s a drag. I bet we are trading qualifying and all races for a tape-delayed viewing of the main event.

I know they’re expensive, but this whole mess kinda makes the WSBK and MotoGP sites/services worth it.

Same day broadcast, AND no-spoiler pages? Yes, please.

The benefit to network TV is exposing the sport to “normals.”

Yes to all this. In exchange for reaching a much bigger audience, the broadcasts and production will likely be directed toward the new or casual fan. NBC may even record voice over narration with their own hosts for the tape-delayed showings. It won't be a great viewing experience for the dedicated fan. The video passes really deliver for the more ardent fans.

Folks, just because it's "NBC" doesn't mean it's, you know, NBC. i.e. Channel 4 (KNBC down here).

NBC owns and operates, among other things, NBCS -- NBC Sports.

That's the channel that runs the Dakar daily summaries.

Since there doesn't seem to be "NBC wide world of sports" any more, I would not expect GP or SBK to be taking up precious broadcast time when it can be delegated to a underutilized cable channel at 2am.

and very unlikely we are going to be able to see Moto 3 nor Moto 2 with this change. I will be extremely upset if that is the case as I love to watch Moto 3.

I had to quit my WSB account. Had really bad buffering and freeze ups that could not be solved. Rarely have the same problem on the MotoGP site.

I don't mind paying for one, but I'm not happy paying for both. I wish there was a package deal. I'm still paying for both but I'm not happy about it.

I have no problem paying for live coverage. I hope the races are not days later on NBCSports. I did buy the NBCS track pass for AFT.

sucks, neither WSBK nor MotoGP on Bin Sports :thumbdown

Wondering what races will be shown on NBCSN.

Being WSBK has 3 SBK races, looks like I may opt for this video pass package vs MotoGP.

Additionally, NBC will air the Dutch TT from the TT Circuit Assen on Sunday, June 28, at 4:30 p.m. ET; the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, October 25, at 3 p.m. ET; and the season finale in the Comunitat Valenciana in Spain on Sunday, November 15, at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Five of the 20 MotoGP races in 2020 will air live on NBCSN, including the Grand Prix of the Americas from Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, April 5 at 2:30 p.m. ET. All race coverage that airs on NBC and NBCSN will stream on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Live coverage of all 20 races will continue to stream on MotoGP VideoPass, both live and OnDemand, as will each and every session of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. Not crazy about wsbk video pass format. Was going to watch race 1 this morning and a spoiler right there on the front page. Anyone else?
