I think scrolling through this thread brings back memories and love and pain. This is what life is like. There will be no survivors in the long run.

I’m thinking about my 92 year old mother who has always made a huge deal over elections and subsequent inaugurations. I’m thinking of how there has always been a picture of our presidents with or without their families on her mantle. I’m thinking how people born in the 1920s have seen so much and how worthwhile it is to listen to them.

I’m also thinking I hope she likes the framed photo of The Bidens and their dogs. Presidential cat will be a stand alone.

I’m also thinking about the boxes containing many Virgin Mary figurines and about my Aunt who is no longer alive so they stopped coming to me in my early 50s. I think I’ll build a shelf in the shop for them.

I'm thinking it's really saddening that folks are reducing history to negative soundbites about important historical figures, and then trying to virtue signal to others using those little nuggets of ignorant belligerence.

I'm thinking:
I love my ife and it isn't up for trade but living with a person with ongoing issues from a TBI can be exhausting, and today I am exhausted. THis exhaustion is the harbor for today's thought.

I'm thinking in my next life I will remain completely and solely single. My life will be mine, my business will be mine, my time will be mine, my money will be mine. People in my home will be guests and will leave. I will enjoy the opisite sex and even invite them to share my bed, my cooking, and my coompany but they too will be wholely single and not searching for more and will leave. I will not put up with, explain away, stubborness and ego it takes up valuable bandwidth.
I will for sure have a cat but may or may not have a dog.

These are today's thoughts. I expect that they will change next week.

For some strange reason this thread is having problems loading the last page correctly. When I "click" on LAST PAGE there is a 3-4 second delay and this error message pops up.

Then I have to go back to the original post and then click on 5, then 1005, 2005, 3005, etc. to get to the current page - 3705. The weird part is the last page identified is 3755.

This tread is the only one I've found that conducts it's self in this obnoxious manner! :mad

Yes, it a fairly old thread, started 05/30/05, and is showing 56,491 Replies and 2,578,430 Views. This count seem very high when compared to others. Has this thread really received 56.4K Replies and 2.5M+ Views?

I've been getting around the problem by changing the page number to 3707 after it fails to load the first time when clicking "last page". It'll automatically change it self to whatever actual page number this is on. At least until we're past page 3707, then I'm sure it will be behind.
