Wedding Photographer Recommendations?

So for some reason, my girlfriend said yes, and I'm getting hitched. I don't know how that happened. She's likes me in spite of the 3 motorcycles and the car that takes up the whole of the garage.

Looking for a wedding photographer, Walnut Creek area. Budget is about 2.5k max - ideally less but based on the googles it looks like thats the top end of the budget range with one shooter.

If anyone knows someone, please let me know - I prefer recommendations by word of mouth as generally that works out better than just finding someone random.

We used this woman but it was years ago. She was awesome. Knew what to do, got it done efficiently and the albums were top-quality. We called her the Photo Nazi jokingly. She’s in Napa but travels.

Whatever you do, don't use MKL Photography. Assholes are charging us more than is in the contract, that both parties signed. When we tried to push back they got defensive and told us that they would pursue legal options since we were in breach of contract, even though we were going along with exactly what was outlined in the contract...

Fiancee is not one for confrontation so she is just going with it, much to my chagrin.
