Surj and I met up with Zakk from the Bone to do some chatting about Lane Splitting History and Tips <--link to podcast

It was pretty fun. I got to see Paul Tonelli whom I have known since the days I raced for KSJO back in the 80's when he first got his gig as a morning DJ. That was very cool, Paul is a good dude.

The Bone is now doing more around Motorcycling thanks to Zakk being an avid rider. :thumbup
He recently joined barf and will likely be sharing some of the stuff he is working on.

It is up to us to make sure sprotbiles are represented

I remember how much crap we took from some riders when the first guidelines were coming out. Then repeated when the bills came out to codifiy it.

I know that that most did not have the inside info I had, which is explained in the history of Lane splitting podcast. Seeing writing on the wall demanded some actions and I/we did what we thought was the best thing. In the end it came out quite well... thankfully.

I got a note from a non rider today saying thanks.

Basically his point was thanking me for the point that we (motorcycle riders) should not expect to get special treatment and we take care of ourselves.

A first, where an obvious cager took the time to write a note.
