i have a question tho..
ive been on a bike b4 ..
but why did the lady ask me if i know how to shift gears? isnt this basic dont they teach u this stuff? (i know how to shift gears but i was wondering)

don't know who asked you that question or why. shifting will be covered in the classroom and you'll apply it when you're on the range. if you're ridden before, don't sweat the question. just make sure you show up on time with the proper riding gear and have fun. well, listen to directions as well.

When I took the class in SSF I didn't know thing one about riding a motorcycle and had never even ridden one before.

A year later, I don't know how I ever made it without a bike and I have even ridden all the way to Washington :teeth :thumbup

Me and Julie were the only girls in the class!! I don't know but I doubt there were any barfers there :p

Oh and for anyone signed up for the future classes....when they say don't be late....they mean it. At the classroom instruction class the lady shut the door at 6pm and rolled a tape that was like a welcome to the course, it also gave us some time to fill out paper work, but then once the tape was over that was it. These guys came in a little bit later after the tape stopped rolling and she was like NOPE...try again next time! :wow

So seriously....don't be late!

See you tomorrow Ran!

so far i learned a lot... and i am having fun.. especially repeating EVERYTHING i learned to Howie... I am so happy that Ruth needed to take the course too and we could take it together or else i would have felt pretty uncomfortable being the only girl learning... i already feel like i'm slowing everyone down 'cuz i take my time... i don't want to push myself to do more then i can and mess up royaly.. i never driven a stick before and i'm having trouble figuring out when to shift in n out of gear but Ran you have been VERY patient with me and i really appriciate it. see you ran and ruth in less then an hour.
note to self: breath, have confidence and don't wear watch under jacket and gloves... :p
