Hi Chuck
Yup, still have the WR and the YZ 450s, sold the DRZ tho, never thought I would. Still have yours? Almost five years since the OH on that thing!
Stop by the shop, building has been remodeled but I'm still in the same spot.

Do we have the schedule for this weekend? Is Saturday practice going to be in the afternoon like last time?

Brok announced today on Facebook that if you enter two races on Sunday, a third race entry is free. Thats an extra heat race and main event for free.

Damn! That sprint layout is so tiring.. I think the extra 2 races might just make sure I can't walk on Monday.

Bump for Round 5, Oct 12-13 at Sonoma.

This round will be full Supermoto with a dirt section. Also this event will have a larger Pro purse so expect the Pro class to have more fast guys coming out to chase the $$$s.

Schedule is up for this weekend. https://supermotousa.com/round-6-oct-12-13-sonoma/

Saturday practice will have sessions for all asphalt and for full Supermoto with the dirt section.

Sunday schedule is similar to the last two rounds, though the Riders meeting, Sunday practice and the Heats and Mains all start a bit earlier in the day.

doesn't like crashing
So am I reading the dirt/asphalt breakdown of the races correctly?

Pro SM
Open Intermediate/Expert
Open Am – (Beginner / Novice)
Open Vet +30
Open Senior +45
Mini – Adults up to 230cc, Youth up to 85/150
Beginner Open

Everything above has dirt section, everything below is straight asphalt?

Open GP – All asphalt 400cc +
GP1 up to 400cc
GP2 up to 190cc
GP3 up to 150cc
Sportsman / Open DTX
Fast Girls Challenge

I'd think Sportsman/Open DTX would be full supermoto. Fast Girls might depend on the number of entries and what they want to do.

You are correct that any class with GP in the title is asphalt only.

I sure hope the sportsman class has dirt.
I didnt buy shinkos for nothing! :D

You can always run off the track to test them. :teeth

Check with Brok on Facebook to confirm but I'd be really surprised if Sportsman doesn't use the SM track. The whole reason for that class is to get dirt riders to try SM with just a minor investment in tires.

kinda sux for the road racer bikes that compete in mini, I guess you could ride it in the dirt. There's points for the mini class.
