This is your chance to get a taste of real racing. AMA has stepped up and is streaming Live the races. Starting at 7PM tonight just a few minutes. you will see some pretty good racing.

Though the entire package can be better, this is a huge step for Flat Track fans to really show and support these guys. Head over and watch some Bar Banging slideways action

7:30 It Starts, Going on Now, Great commentary and Interviews going on Now

Sammy takes it. The stream was OK. Not great. Watching is useless, but the play by play is OK if you already know the guys.

Bonsey with an 11th. :cool

Did not look like a big crowd, but the whole track set up looked a bit odd. Look forward to hearing about it from someone that was there.

Good racing. Halbert was on fire all night and his usual aggressive self, making the GNC Main a great race for all 25 laps. Well deserved victory for Halbert who is recovering from knee surgery and was just cleared to ride last week. He was icing the knee in between races.

Pro Singles heats were good. The main was a walk for first-time winner Wyatt Maguire who was in class by himself after getting by Shayna Texter, Both of whom had a large gap on the field.

With the track being built in the infield, it wasn't the greatest for spectators. Even the front straight was pretty far away and it was difficult to identify any bike with more than one a single digit on the number plate. Left me with a slightly disconnected feeling. $10 for parking and two general admission tickets for $30 each made it an expensive night for sitting the cheap seats (steel bleachers). Wasn't the greatest venue but still much better than not seeing live Pro Flat Track so I should stop complaining.

We did get there in time for the pit walk which I enjoyed. Love the more casual atmosphere of flat track compared to road racing.

Locals Mikey Martin on the Triumph kicked ass in his semi and two really impressive rides from Ryan Kearns coming the from the back of the grid in his head to just nip the last transfer position. In the main, kearns had a similar charge from the back row to finish 8th against a tough field.

Anyone who qualified to race did great. I read that over 80 riders turned out and a look at the time sheets shows you had to be within .7 of the fastest qualifier to make it to the heats. Racers only have a handful of laps to get up to speed. One of the things I love about Flat Track.

Thanks for the info Steve.

It does seem to be a bummer to be removed so far from the track.
Probably the safest ever track though. Bonus for the racers.

The track vid was good thanks Bill.

I am not sure I would've spent the money after seeing the set up.
I love flat track racing, but having to use binoculars to see the front straight is a bit extreme :p

Hope the racers loved it though.
