Steering damper on a F4i?

The only bike I've ridden is my bro's 01' GSXR600...
I should have my F4i, within a couple of weeks.
I just want to know, if I should put a steering damper on it.
Will I notice a huge difference?

I think the Scott's one fits the F4i's but I'm not sure if you'll need one, I don't remember ever hearing the F4i getting head shake.

IIRC, ohlins/scotts and hyperpro make dampers for the F4i all mounted on top of the steering stem.

I also havent heard of F4i's having any problems with headshake, but if ya got the extra cash laying around, I'd say go for it. I have a scotts on mine and its the best damn accessory I have.

there's the $359 GB deal going now around too. one bad wheelie landing or pothole mid-turn could be all it takes to make it worthwhile? I always ride with a tankbag so that X's out the hyperpro, the scotts should be ok but holding off for now.
