Some Sad News - O'Hanlon Motorcycles

O'Hanlon Motorcycles in San Francisco is closing its doors effective March 31, 2021.

Although Dave has been in the motorcycle community for many years, it is -- regrettably -- only within the past few years that I have started doing business with him. But in that brief time, I have come to realize why O'Hanlon had such a good reputation. Dave is a straight-shooter and his shop did great work at fair prices. Dave was always available to help, often stopping what he was doing to help a motorcyclist in need who just happened to roll up to his shop for some advice.

I, for one, am sad to see Dave go. I wish him the best at whatever new adventure awaits him.

As a Dave adorer I am heartbroken. He's going to leave a gaping hole as a friend and colleague and obviously in our motorcycling community.

This is really saddening to me, although I hope for Dave's sake he is heading off to a much-deserved retirement rather than being yet another victim of the economic downturn (as I am; which is why I have been riding less and therefore having less work done on my bike). I have been bringing five generations of personal motorcycles to him since 2002 and have been nothing but impressed by his integrity and the quality of his work. So often he has gone above and beyond what was expected, and is quick to point out other options if the work is out of my budget. Kudos to him and good luck in your future endeavors!
