The address on the link is a house in the country

Aromas Trucking
510 Cole Rd
Aromas, CA 95004

Looks like a low budget operation by someone who owns a couple trucks and run out of their house.

Google maps does reveal a truck with a red cab at this location. Could be entirely the wrong fella though.

Was anyone able to see if there was even a license plate on the back? I couldn't make one out as if it was completely missing.

I also wouldn't put it past them to have had a fake decal printed and put on the door to make it look legit.

get it while it's easy
any gas stations nearby on the road the truck turned out onto? they usually all have video that includes the street. i scored once in that regard (the video was crystal clear). worth asking.

vid links don't seem to be working anymore?

Who would risk steeling a 1500 dollar fork lift?:nchantr

a forklift is one of those tools that's worth way more than the simple purchase price in my experience. i'd expect the little shop size ones are hard to find in the Current State Of Things. harder than usual.

I went to yellowpages.com and searched for tow companies in San Jose by alphabetical order. I found Arana's Towing, which looks similar to the text on the truck.

The address for their company is a residential address in South San Jose.

Google search for their truck doesn't show any recent stuff, though. The old truck they have was blue...

:dunno

That's very brazen for a Carnivorous Humanoid Underground Dweller.

someone who knew where the key was hidden?

I don't see how that could possibly be considered a $1500 dollar forklift. Even a decent Pallet Jack costs more than that used. Fork lifts often cost as much or more than a comparably aged commuter car. I never considered it before since I have never owned one, but that is really a great black market item, because of the value and the fact that it has so much less visibility and accountability than stealing a car.
