Yeah, like in Mars Attacks! If I have to go back to the office soon I'm considering expanding a 3L soda bottle to make a head dome, complete with carbon filter backpack. :cool
Lots of people wearing those stubby masks here. But then again the people making the rules are allowing acoustic but not electrified musicians, shut down a bar and then let them re-open if they changed their table from round to square, thereby making them look more like a restaurant.
Other than the arbitrary rules and moving goal posts, they are prettty darn strict on entry and exit protocols at businesses and the airport.
I was surprised to see them allow these stubby shields.
Seem more of a duct than a filter to me, if we are talking about airborne particulate hazards.
