Hi! I was always aware of BARF but for some reason i never paid much attention and didn't join. anyway, here am i finally.
i ride almost daily in SF, it's my main means of transport (muni? no, thank you). for running errands, shopping, going to job sites (with tools) and, of course, for fun and recreation.
i also do trips, some of them extended. e.g. i rode my moto guzzi ambassador to prudhoe bay and back a few years back.
i'm into vintage bikes and try to attend every event (49 miles ride, etc.) but there are unfortunately not too many here in the bay area.
my username? until 10 years ago i rode a bmw i decked out to a caferacer (before that became a thing), sold it and bought my MG. but my username/email name stayed.

Good to have you.. Vintage stuff gets some love here as do most facets of the moto life.

Many smiles with your miles! :ride

Sounds to me like you not only ride an Ambassador you are one. Congratulations on the Guzzi to Alaska. I rode a T3 for several years and enjoyed every mile.

If you ride vintage and have done lot of the vintage rides, we've probably met. :) Unfortunately, everything has been canceled this year. Very cool that you've ridden your Guzzi all the way to Alaska! I often ride my vintage bikes in the San Mateo/Santa Cruz County hills - though that's been put on hold with the fires. Hope to see you on the road.
