You know I respect you so I am asking honestly, what's your point or end game? Just to convince us asking repeatedly answered questions from a know proudly-ignorant individual with a pattern of shit posting is A-OK and we shouldn't be so mean?
Just curious.
I'm trying to be transparent about my point, which is that we don't really know Desi's motives. All we know is his behavior.
A lot of the polarization we see in the nation originates from the same kind of dynamic, where people attribute extreme viewpoints to each other based on comments or questions that aren't nearly that defined. It's rampant here and has actually driven the site owner out of this very forum.
If you find a behavior irritating, sure address that. LMGTFY, or some such. To equate asking the questions he did to a defense of Rush is a bit of a stretch and induces a motive that may not be present.
I am aware of Desi's posting history and that he has expressed positions that are bigoted. It's not impossible that he knows perfectly well who Rush Limbaugh was and totally agreed with that screed. Neither of us knows that, however. I know other individuals in real life that would ask similar questions, not meaning any harm, so I try to err on the side of responding to what really happened, rather than making up a motive for them.
