Put an auto-blipper on my '16 Tuono

So I replaced my R1M with a '16 Tuono 1100V4F. It had a quick shifter but no auto-blip. "No biggie I thought"

3 months an 3000 miles later I still keep getting caught out forgetting that I need to use my clutch when downshifting. :laughing

So I bit the bullet and fitted a fully programmable IRC auto-blipper :teeth :thumbup

It uses a strain-gauge bidirectional sensor and connects to the coils, gear position sensor, shift sensor, the load-demand controller (in two places) a switched live and ground.

Its controlled by a programable unit, which I fixed to the sub-frame rails behind a trim pieces (removed in the photo) and tucked some excess wiring up inside the tail fairing. Routing all the connectors to the various sensors involved, took some thought.

Got to say, I'm really impressed with it. Fitting was greatly helped by the Aprilia community, who'd already figured out the options and settings.

Up-shifts are the same as before but the auto-blipper is buttery smooth and just 40 ms. Its shockingly better than the auto-blipper on my R1M.
