POSTPONED due to rain - Flat Track TT Practice - Thunderhill Feb 16-17

Two days of TT practice at the Thunderhill TT track.

Saturday: 3/8 mile Daytona TT replica track layout with TT jump. Moto Only. Class C Traction.

Sunday: 7/8 mile full course. Motos alternating sessions with Side x Sides and Rally Cross Cars. Open Traction for bikes.

Gates open 9:00am both days.

$50 per day for bikes. $75 for both days for bikes. $100 Sunday for cars. Pay at the track.

Hmm. How poorly would slicks do?

Probably not good. Track prep is likely to be pretty good for the first day so its unlikely to form a blue groove. Open Traction on day two means the track will probably get pretty loose and loamy.

If you have access to a tire groover, cut slicks can work great and not hurt performance on pavement.

never having been on a TT course... would I want a front brake for something like this? I stole the one off my racebike to use on my streetbike and haven't gotten around to moving it back.

A friend of mine is interested in going, but she has a lil' bike and is worried about sharing the track with experts on big bikes. Will there be groups?
