Get D&D the loudest annoying pipe ever made.

The only thing more annoying is Harleys revving their POS bike and Ricers w/coffee can mufflers. :twofinger

D and D is rediculous. Muzzy is pretty loud as well.
Also titanium and steel will be louder than Carbon Fiber..........CF has a deeper grumble. Good Luck!!!!

Forget the noise, and go with a FullAkraMojo.

I have a micron pipe. I replaced the packing with steel wool which gave it a real nice sound. for the money, i like the micron. rsrai has one on his R1 and it sounds good.

Yoshi!!!

Go with the Yoshi!!!! And get a slip-on for god sakes... it's cheaper and you want to keep your Exup, I mean you paid for it why throw it away?
And get a power commander too (otherwise the pipe makes no sense)

I don't think gutting the pipe will affect the EXUP at all should it? I'm not gonna gut it anyway I'm going with a D&D slip-on.

P.S. how much are power commanders?

Uhh... Power Commander's are for FI bikes... They allow you to alter the fuel curve... Since your bike is carb'd, I wouldn't worry about it...

If all you care about is the sound... Just get a slip-on... If you want lots more power, get a full system... Getting a full system will get rid of the Exup valve,(which PeterR1 keeps telling everyone and me to keep) causing you to lose power in the lower band, the performance gains up top are considerable...

Since I know you only want it for the noise... Just get a slip-on...

If you keep your EXUP, you will save a lot of money on rear tires.
You will get better milage also.
And, you can spend the $900 you save on loli-pops, buble gum, and comic books.

ooops I thought you said you had a 2k2 R1...

Liquid is right.. you can't use a power commander so instead what I would suggest (because I did this) is to get Ivan needles (jet kit) for your R1.

Made a HUGE difference on my bike, it's VERY smooth now and I don't get any back fire any more (used to get it with the slip-on when did engine breaking by downshifting).

The Ivan needles are about $140 come with everything you need and worth every penny!

If you want to trade bikes next time we ride, you'll see how smooth mine is (and also hear the Yoshi slip-on I have to see if you like the sound).:twofinger

Help I'* being Oppressed!
If all you want is loud-make-your-neighbors-hate-you-and-wish-you-would-die sound, then by all means get a Deaf&Dumb slipon. I mean D&D. :twofinger
