The Minis of 2016 Part One

Since the release of the Honda Grom (and the Kawi Z125), Mini Rides are very much alive

I don't know, that sounds somewhat disingenuous. Yes it nice that there are folks out there having fun, but it's not like there weren't rides going on all along, and the Grom/Z125 weren't at all what were fueling those mini rides--although they were welcome.

The Minis of 2016

Yeah this was a total craptastic year, but we still found some time to get in some great riding. I seemed to have missed a bunch of 236 photos. These were just some that I already had posted online and were easy to link. The 236 riding with the fresh pavement was the best on street riding I've ever had. It was like magic.

dang Rob, lots a of great pix. Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I know. I have missed many great ride invites, with regrets. Unfortunately, time is not always on my side, when it comes to a day of riding. Most of my rides are solo, and short. But hey! at least I get a ride in :ride

Hey Daren, I understand that people get busy, and I wasn't knocking you for that--I was just stating that you knew that there were mini rides out there that didn't emanate from the Groms, but rather from the dedicated mini community that's been supporting the scene for years.

Mini Group - I am going to un-stick this thread, due to minimal activity.

Thanks to Honda (Grom, Monkey, and Cub) and Kawasaki (Z125), the mini scene is actively thriving. There are so many other social media avenues being used to gather local mini group rides, it's no wonder this thread is not so active. However, if some of you wish to host a group ride and want to post, feel free to continue keeping this thread alive and active.

Thanks to ALL of those whom participated in Mini Group rides over the years, when the mini scene was nearly distinct, and rare. Thanks for the rides and smiles, the memories, meeting new people, and sharing the passion. Some of us still have minis and actively ride, and some have moved on. See you guys on the road, or at the track :ride
