"Got caught funneling Russian money to Republican Presidential candidates" is a pretty good reason to implode. I'd say that's straying pretty far from the "historical vision" for the org to exist.

Lotsa folk coming out against the NRA. They've been long known to be a bunch of corrupt assholes not doing much, if anything, for 2A rights. About damn time the YouTubers and other "influencers" came out and said something.

NRA-ILA is a great, and severely underfunded, organization however.

I joined the NRA at 13 because they taught hunter safety... I don't feel like joining anymore...

They need to refocus just on 2A and safety issues and leave the industry front and culture war crap for other groups.

I'm glad they're imploding and I hope it is more transformative than destructive. If NRA dissolves there will be a void needing to be filled when it does come to the real work of defending the 2nd.
