Route looks kinda like this?

does "Big Bike Friendly" mean no knobbies needed?

Yes that is pretty close to the route!

So china camp is out, which means the 2nd dirt section is out since its closed due to the fire. So it looks like Laguna seca for camping. We can crusie down to cannery row which would be fun. Just as a fyi there will be a fee to camp there.
You will not need nobbies, I just lower the tire pressure for the dirt section

Good news, spoke with a ranger with the forest service today china camp will be open for our ride so the second dirt road is back on!

Hi guys.. I ride a little GROM and have taken it off road for light enduro. I can manage on light rocky terrain. Anyways, I’d love to join you guys but don’t think I’ll keep up safely in the freeways. I can cruise 60 so I’d be fine on the Hwy. well I’d love to join you guys But i don’t want to annoy anyone for being slow. Well, thought I’d put it out there and see what this community thinks.

Update:
Due to the lack of participation, this will now just be a day ride and we will not be camping unfortunately.
The only change in the route will be the 2nd section of dirt will be out, since it was out of the way.
Meet at 845 am at grilling and chilling in Hollister. Wheels will be rolling at 9am! We will have 1 dirt section, ride down carmel valley road, ride along the coast in the city of Monterey and end at Alice's restaurant just like before.
I still would appreciate it if you gave me a heads up that your coming. Thanks!
Sorry to the couple of people that did want to camp.

Looks like a nice Adv ride. With you cutting out some of the dirt and overnight parts, do you have any tolerance for a road-only rider?

I'd probably hit the start in Hollister, but head south to Pinnacles when you cut off 25 and hope to catch up in Carmel. I live in Santa Cruz, but would probably keep up to Alice's.

No worries if it doesn't fit -- and happy to keep it loose.

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan, I promised 1 dirt section, I was going to ask who ever does attend to see if they wanted to skip it and just go down 25 to k.c. instead since they are calling for rain Friday night, and If I can help it I would rather not ride a big adventure bike through mud. So if you want to chance it come out, but I'll leave it up to the group on what they want to do as far the route since I said there was 1 dirt section.
