If you look at your tire, you can see how far over you have leaned. The outer edge where the rubber is still new is called the chicken strip. It implies you are a chicken for not leaning over farther.

BTW, Andy, 250gpracer has NO strips (so you won't find them, Anon)... he rides a 250 Ninja up and down the front of 9 (exclusively, unfortunately) like a banshee. Art and I have both ridden with him. Before he (finally) got some gear he was riding in Timberlands that he'd ground the toes almost completely off. He's a fixture on 9 - green EX250 - you can't miss him. :D

ummmmm, I'm offended by the term "chicken", so in the future when referring to my tires, could you call them "Bitch strips" or "Pussy strips".....thank you very much. :D :D
