Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and have been wanting to introduce myself for a while. Last year I decided to start riding again as a 65th birthday present to myself. It's a bit early, but for my 66th gift, I had to double down. A good friend of mine that's going through a similar phase in his life, recently asked me "how many motorcycles do we need to have in the garage"? I told him that I really don't know, that's not at all on my mind right now.
I have, and continue to spend a fair amount of time at Sonoma and Thunderhill, however, never on a motorcycle. I'm signed up and looking forward to the Sonoma Z2 5/3 event as a novice.
I remember the first time I saw a supermoto, at the Sonoma kart track, I was a grand masters 80 shifter on a practice day, I was like WTF???? Now fast forward 20 years, I'm like, WTF????
I see the April 24/25 PTT is running the same weekend with NASA at Thill, although, you'll be on the West course. I'll probably be there but with NASA / TT / instructor but would love to meet some you guys that are going. I'll pop over for sure.
What a wonderful group of folks here at BARF! You guys have the best energy and often inspired here. I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know some of you in the near future!
