Hi everyone!

My name is Ellie and I’m a beginner rider who just started! I have only about 5hours of riding so far which were all during a private lesson in a parking lot. I just bought a Ninja 300ABS and looking forward to learning on it ☺️ If anyone knows a good practice spot in South San Jose let me know! Very excited to meet more riders as I build up my skills level!

Nice to meet all of you!

Welcome, you’ll learn a lot here- I certainly have. And everyone’s great about answering even the dumbest questions. In fact, many long debates have arisen from what start out as simple issues so dive in

Bam! This is what I’m talking about - learning new stuff. Did not know that taking a motorcycle safety class means no riding in figure 8’s at the DMV. It makes perfect sense but I wouldn’t have guessed the DMV would be sensible

Thank you for the welcomes everyone!

Welcome!

Where did you take your basic riding course?

I've been doing private lessons with an instructor. I'm planning to take the M1 safety course soon to get the full license but I haven't decided on a place yet, seems like they're all a bit far from me since I couldn't find any opened in SJ so I have to find dates where I can drive further away.

Welcome Ellie. I joined BARF ten years ago as a total newb and I'm now a certifiable addict. There's a lot of good information and support here. Keep it shiny side up, wear your gear and have fun.
