Funny thing is that the Spanish name is Vis a Vis, or face to face, which is a much better title and how it should have been titled. Locked up makes it sound like a cheap exploitation series about women ( which is what attracted me to it, :laughing). The series is all about confrontation and accountability.
Illiteracy must be difficult.
Edit: Holy shit this does look gorgeous.
don't be a dick.
I understand spanish-ish, enough to generally understand but I suck at speaking it and would struggle to be called "conversational"
I fucking HATE subtitles. Reading english, hearing spanish, and trying to pay attention to the actual camera shots is simply too much.
I'm on the 3rd season of Vis a Vis. Love the series and characters.
Thread title makes it sound not very interesting lol
Nobody would look if I said:
"Great Netflix series about prison, equality, LGBQT rights, inequity, and friendship."
I would. :dunno
