Rolls with it...
Harden and Durant won all those rings in OKC... oh wait, no they didn't.

Shoot, get the whole band back together & sign Westbrook.

Harden and Kyrie on the same team, this should be interesting. Would love to see them play Lebron in the finals.

BTG. Brooklyn Team of Grievances.

If you think about it, they found the three most dissatisfied premier players and put em on the same team. They also have a first-time coach despite great player pedigree.

I am skeptical this works out at all. On paper, sure. And during initial games, they'll probably dazzle with scoring.

I love KD but have come to the conclusion that he's just a dissatisfied man. He looked so mopey in that game with the Dubs, like he regretted whatever....I can't figure it out.Kyrie is already acting weird and has track record elsewhere. Harden is just kind of a fluffly blank pillow of non-emotion. He proved to me during past playoff games that his level of engagement had waned by the end of the season; but I kind of blame that on Houston overall formula and D'Antonio's coaching. I hated the step back and get a foul style of play because it leads to a stagnant game. It worked in regular season but failed in playoffs because other teams were more used to hustling. I also think the trio of miscreants, in terms of defense, is suspect. KD does play good defense but Harden? C'mooooooon.

I am so far off of being in NBA level of understanding, I'm probably way off. But that's what I see and we're trading opinions.

Wow, big win over the Lakers tonight.

I was only sorta watching the first half because it looked like it was gonna go bad, but since there wasn't anything else on I stayed with it. Glad I did!

LBJ is a great player, but an average closer... :laughing

Great win! This team (especially Paschal!!) is fun to watch. The bench kept us in the game and the Lakers going 0 for 10 towards the end didn't hurt either. LET'S GO!

It was fun to see LeBaby at it again, screaming at the refs, pushing Wiseman into Gasol to guarantee foul and his overall sweaty demeanor.

Right after the final bell, most of the players did the usual hellos and niceties.

But not LeBron. He stalked off the court into the locker room.

This is the KS, so I can't say who he reminded me of tomorrow at noon. You know, the guy who can't stand losing.

Warriors sure are an up and down team at this point....

They have to be fully engaged and play hard to win. No skating on reliable scorers. I just didn't think they had the energy to play hard enough last night, being on a back-to-back.

Wiseman couldn't hit a 3-footer to save his soul last night though he did get two dunks finally. They could have won that game if he'd gotten his buckets. How can a guy with a 9'1" reach miss a three footer? He threw em over the hoop at least six times. Damn. And Oubre slipped back into near total ineffectuality on offense.

What I see on the losing nights are half-hearted shot attempts, often from far away and still with available seconds on the play clock. I don't want to say "too lazy" to run 'em in or pass around, but it seems that way. With a low scoring opponent like the tired Suns last night, it seemed inexcusable.

I have a feeling that Mt. Kerr might erupt in some private meeting. Something along the lines of "well, who actually does want to stay on this roster because what we have ain't workin." Even somebody who seems good at times might be gone before we know it and I won't blame Kerr for it.

I hate to see em flush another season but something has to change. Of course, I'll be all rainbows and smiles next time they win. I know they CAN win more than they are and frankly, I still think they have a playoff shot. Another thing is that they just seem like they need to practice together, and apparently, COVID restrictions limit that.

But they are sending away Mannion, Poole and Smiley to GLeague so they are just not even going to have reserve bodies soon. I don't see how they can hustle them up from Florida the way they could Santa Cruz.

One of the things I cannot quite reconcile is this: even though last year was a losing season, Poole and Pascall played a lot and played better than they are playing this year. In fact, the announcers worried that Poole was getting ruined because he was being thrown to the lions, so to speak. So, what happened to those guys? Isn't their experience worth giving them minutes to resume the levels they were at. I feel like Poole just isn't getting a chance to find any rhythm. I know, Steve still has to win games but I wonder if the NBA experience will end up with Poole getting traded away and being in limbo before finding himself again. And I can't figure out Pascall. He seemed way better last year.

Bump.

DUBSDUBSDUBSDUBSDUBSDUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barkely can suck it, too. They are not in last place. League wide especially, though second-to-last in specific conference.

I might start a Kelly Oubre fan club. This guy just plays and plays..He is one of the most exciting players to come to Warriors in last few years. I hope we keep him. At first I thought he was Nick Young 2.0 but he a much more serious physical force on the floor.

THe klowns on tv and radio don't know what to call Wiseman for a nickname. They tried Big Jim last night. Nope.

You heard it here first courtesy of yours truly: His new nickname should simply be JWise. Ya know, like DLee and Jay Z. has a nice feel to it. I bet it catches on whether people hear it from or not...

No chance Oubre stays when Klay is back next year. He's gonna make a ton of money and with the luxury tax it won't be possible.

It's not my choice to make and I truly cannot understand the luxury tax thing but I will say the following in defense of keeping him.

1) at their age and respective health history, you cannot count on Steph and Klay playing 82 games plus playoffs next year. One or both will be injured again. They could get a pure shooter point guard, but the only way to fight elite teams is with strong defense. Klay is a great defender and Steph does as much as he can with his size in that regard.
2) Oubre doesn't have much of a mid-range shot thus far, but he is improving as perimeter and he is never afraid to go in the paint. (I wish he'd stopp trying to make monster dunks and just get the frickin' points but it's part of his showtime mentality I guess. So that covers offense.
He is exciting and disruptive as a defensive player. His weirdly long arms and hands mean he can compete with taller guys under the basket and often win the battle.
3) Thus, he is a two-way player and probably better defensively at this point. With an injured Steph or Klay, you better have that.
4) I would rather give up Bazemore or Wanamaker than Oubre if thats what it takes.
5) I think the bench has shown at times, to be more successful than starters with certain teams. I think sprinkling Oubre in both squads just can derail some of the diva shooting teams and Kerr has been tinkering exactly this way..
6) I can't believe he doesn't want a ring. Whether he would settle for some kind of reduced contract or go year-to-year, I dunno, but I think he has a very good chance of getting that bling if he stays with Dubs. For fans, he is just a unique exciting player and for all his glitz, he doesn't pick up on techs or get in fights yet he has the energy of Draymond or Westbrook.

I realize that these amateur takes might be negated by contract reality, but I would love a Dubs squad with Oubre collecting a ring. I'll buy the t-shirt, that's for sure. I like that guy.

oh I agree with that and I really like him but you're not talking about bazemore or wanamaker being gone, they're vet min guys you're talking about trading Wiggins cause he's got a gigantic contract and shifting that $ to Oubre

I mean I'd love for Lacob to just say fuck it and keep paying the luxury tax, but Oubre's salary is only $14M this season but he's costing the Dubs over $80M.

Oubre once again shined last night in a challenging win. Three in a row, finally.

Lakers tomorrow. That will be interesting.
