my 9 y.o. boy really wants to start riding [his mother and i both ride. he's been around bikes most of his life and he actually has quite a bit of time on the pillion]. i thought maybe we could both do dirtbike school this summer. so, i was wondering:

1. is there an msf dirtbike school in the bay area?
2. how much does it cost?
3. how long does it last?
4. what kind of gear do you need? street gear o.k.?
5. do adults and kids have separate groups?

thank you. :twofinger

I know Supercamp is awesome. However, it is also very expensive. It costs $625 for two days. If you can afford it, are willing to wait (there is a wait list), and take a day off work, then by all means go for it.

Else, the MSF Dirtbike school is also a good choice. I heard the Santa Rosa MSF Dirtbike school is fantastic. It only costs $195.00 for one day and it includes the use of a dirt bike. For folks like me who don't have the time and money, I would love to give MSF Dirtbike school a try in the near future!

Supercamp is not a newbie school. They want you to know how to ride a little while before you do the camp.
