I hope Cam can score a decent ride in WorldSBK soon, he's making a mockery of the MotoAmerica field.

Not sure he would want to go from being the biggest fish in a medium pond to just one more hungry ass WSB rider.

Cam hasn't shown much of being a hungry racer.

Gerloff, on the other hand, after only one season in US SBK, made it to the world stage, and already on the podium beating some of the best guys at World SBK. Gerloff beated Sykes, Lowes, Redding ... and even gave Van der Mark a hard time at the last few laps last weekend.

Would it be nice if Gerloff gets Van der Mark bike and Cam gets Gerloff's bike ?

Money says Cam ain't going unless he get a factory spot.

He is an hungry as he needs to be. His package and riding is so much better than everyone else I can see him cleaning the rest of the wins this year for an all time season win record.

rather than returning this chat to present-day MA SBK (in my view, a small pond), think back to '90s AMA SBK racing (then either a medium or large pond, you pick) - Molester Mladin was gaining the strength that eventually only Bens Pies could defeat

Mat was 1 of 4(!) contracted Yosh Zook riders, a pair each on Gixxers & the now-somewhat-loved V-twin failures - my fave, Worm, had left Ducati & arrived alongside Crevier on their twins

in a recent FT podcast, "TankSlappin", ol Pegram gives some detail regarding MM66 & his behavior within the big team - well worth a listen, about 3/4 thru the recording

this comes up for me bcz Cam & MM are/were in similar positions, dominating US SBK & not $$ motivated by yurrip
