MotoAmerica Laguna Seca King Of The Bagger - Is this real?

Don’t know what’s so special about the Corkscrew. Once you figure out your entry line doesn’t much matter what you’re on - bike, bagger, pickup truck, LMP1.

Im a little surprised MA is allowing active SBK racers to enter. Usually a SBK license disqualifies them from lower classes and I didn't think MA was going this route with this race. But I guess its just an exhibition race so it doesn't really matter. This should be fun!

Figure eights, with a trailer....

I kid, props to anyone who can run a bagger thru the Corkscrew.

Based on all that speed wobble in Herrin's vid, T1 is going to be way more frightening than the Corkscrew. That bike is struggling to go straight at speed - a turn over a hill at speed will be nuts.

And that speed wobble was on a pretty flat, level track. Going up and down Laguna is gonna be awesome. Agreed on turn 1 - it's gonna be crazy. Can't wait!

Well, I was going to say turn one but figured throwing that much weight left to right at high speed would be a more intense thing.

:laughing good point. And some of those Laguna gravel traps are DEEP. We may be seeing a lot of red flags because bikes can't be removed easily and quickly.

I think you may be surprised at just how fast a good rider can make a Harley go. I've ridden many trackdays with Zac, who gets his Harley around incredibly quickly.

Tyler Ohara just ran a 1:38 on his bagger.....

Sorry, Tyler just brought that down to 1:37:55, faster than most of the A Group at a trackday.

Watched today. O’Hara kicked ass!!

1:36.

That was my last TD time on my Duc.
Humbling how slow I was on a bike that weighed 300 lbs less. Damn.

This the real difference between riders and bikers which is the percentile of your
motorcycles ability you have mastered *regardless* of the type of bike
you ride...
