Hi All,

You might have heard of Rocket Ranch- they're a start-up moto school based in Oakland specialising in supermoto training and racing. www.rocket-ranch.com

I've been talking to them for a couple of months and it looks like we're near to getting a group together for a motard clinic.

Here's a copy of the email that I sent this morning to see if we can get something more cocncrete.

This is also cross-posted on ktmsuperemoto@yahoogroups.com and norcalsupermotards@yahoo.com just FYI.

Okay. Let's see what they offer us :teeth

Hi Peter, Jeremy,

Well, after your second write up in City bike and some discussion on the yahoo boards etc. there's some interest growing in Rocket-Ranch.

Initial inquiries on www.bayareariderforum.com, norcalsupermotards@yahoogroups.com, and ktmsupermoto@yahoogroups.com suggest that there are between six and eight of us who would be very interested in training with you. A few of us have probably already been in touch with you directly.

Are you yet in a position to give us an indication of price and perhaps what you would put into a moto clinic for us- also what is your venue likely to be? It might be an issue for some of us to get away during the week, so the Stockton on Monday suggestion could work, but maybe not for everyone who's interested.

I'm happy to be a spokesperson for the group if you would like and send inquiries back and forward, or I can just give you the email addresses of those who are interested or maybe you would prefer to subscribe to these groups and post your proposals directly- cut out the middle man entirely!!

Many of us ride together and I'm sure we'd be a fun group to work with.

What do you think?

with kind regards
Andrew

As far as I can tell, yes.

But as the aim is to learn how to maintain speed through the turns, a light and agile bike is probably an asset.

Ever had a total blast on those karts with a 5hp honda mower engine? Yes?? Exactly!!
