Mileage

Here's a graph of the miles/gallon and miles/day averages over the course of ownership of my bike. The DSL is down right now so I turned on the upload capability and thought I'd share this, now I'm going to turn it right back off. :p

The blue line is MPG, the grey one is MPD.

The overall averages are 44.44 MPG and 45.32 MPD

What are you guys riding? Scooters? :p

I get maybe 33mpg if I baby the F4i on the freeway... 27ish when ripping the mtns or canyons. This just reminds me that I need to get the bike in to the shop as I believe its running rich. No way this bike should big getting less than 40.

Steve, dude...you need to actuallying do "work" at work instead of graphs, then you wouldn't have a server breech. :twofinger And you need to work on your graphing skillz...there's nothing worse than a graph with no labels. :twofinger

Ken - 120 isnt good (less than 30 unless you ride on fumes). I've owned liter bikes, hell all kinds of sport bikes that could still get 40 on the hwy. Thats why I get upset when I think about my F4i getting only 30 stock.

Steve - duct tape? Hmmmm... I think I am going to bring a roll and start with your centerstand on the 17th. Crappy day at the office, can you tell?

Only for bikes held together w/ duct tape

HAHAHAHAHAHHA! leave me alone about the duct tape:twofinger

Ill get new plastics as soon as i fix my other toys =)

Ok i think the reason why my gas milage is so crappy is due to the fact that wheelies eat up alot of gas at the higher RPM range. but then again i rarely ever do wheelies anymore..so i may have a clogged injector or some other form of bike-sickness:(

No, just a 16 year old bike I use to commute on the freeway. I have a 3 gallon tank and usually go about 150 miles on a tank. easy math. Although I've only been getting about 125 on a tank lately. That's still a little over 41 mpg though. I think I just need a tune up. Anybody here do tune ups?

yeah, my f4i is only getting about 30mpg too. pretty pathetic.

Damn I feel for you F4i guys. I've been getting anywhere from 35-45 mpg, depending on how far I dip into the throttle.
