Yeah I was having font end issues all day, I was going a little wide around the corner cause I though there might be someone on the inside of me and I didn't want to clip them but I was on track to make the turn, then my front started to slide out when going over some of the track ripples making go wider, I was getting ready to take a brief ride in the grass and then hop back on track and while I was mowing the lawn I got snagged on something or hit a ditch and went over the bars. I'll upload the video later for those who are interested.

Shoulder is separated and my thumb is broken. The drive home was "interesting"

Yeah I was that guy.

I've got some video. I can edit and post later. I got my crash on video.

Do you have any contact info?

Negative on contact info. You should be able to find him on here somewhere. Multiple time NSR50 champ from the SMRRC days (or something along those lines). :laughing

Was behind you for a little while dicing it up. Just like you I had front end issues pushing me wide, but it's the forks not rebounding which I have to look into. Hope you have a speedy recovery and we can continue the action next time! :thumbup

Yeah I was thinking my rebound damping was too much, I moved the controls a little more forward and that helped. This was my first time trying out my öhlins front end internals. After I got a little more weight on the front it was a bit better so I was thinking maybe get some new triples that put the bars farther out and bobs your uncle. Now it'll be a while till I can test that theory, would rather have adjustable front end. But forks are $$$

Sorry to hear about your crash, R3DS!X. You might be referring to Minoru Cha. He's on the barf. Heal up and get your :ride sorted.

Nope. I've got a good amount of dirt experience. I really thought I was gonna be able to ride back on track. My friend said it looked like I hit a ditch.

Wow looks like you were having fun until you weren't. Yeah sounds like Minoru. Super good people. I'll send him an email to check in with you. ;)

It was a lot of fun going back to and riding on our old stomping ground again.

We plan to make it back on Sun 6/11 again, after coming back from Mugello!

Sorry we missed this one, decided to take our big bikes out for a ride down 26 and 49 :( we will be out next time.

Redsix what tires are you running? That fast corner you crashed in looks like target fixation, at least that's what I usually experience around that turn, just gotta hang that ads way off and have faith in your traction, 3rd gear wide open around there!

Your turn in looks too early, looks like you are correcting mid turn causing your front end to get unstable

I was trying to hang wide cause I thought the guy I passed might be on the inside. I think I wasn't as over the bars as I should have been cause the front started to slip away pushing me wider, you can see me moving the bars trying to hook the front up a couple of times, when I knew I was running wide I was preparing to mow the lawn for a bit. I've ridden in the dirt before so it was no big deal. Maybe I could have saved it but I didn't want to go down at that speed with people behind me. I figured going off track was better.
You can see earlier in the day I took a wide line around there for the same reason but I was putting more weight on the front that time so I didn't get any of the issues.

Was running Michelin power pure. About 19 psi
