Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase my first west-coast dirt bike this weekend up near Sacramento. Thus, I'll have to drive to Sacramento and back.
I'm planning on transporting it using a hitch-mounted carrier, and was wondering if the 55 mph max speed limit applies to me when I'm towing with a hitch mounted carrier, even though I don't have a third axle touching the ground (although I'm afraid they'll try to classify it as "vehicle towing other vehicle").
Just trying to avoid any potential tickets from the good 'ol CHP
Thanks!
