AT has to be better than MT. I wore new ones down by half in less than 5k miles. Unless it's a dedicated off road rig or if you have em on a second set of wheels, not worth it.
But, MT sure do look fucken sick

Lots of good middle ground tires these days. I have Coopers AT/MT mix tire and have put near 50k on them with a ways to go.

Bfg AT worked real good in snow on all the jeeps iv had. If ran bfg mud terrain and they were horrible in the snow and wore down quick. What about nitro? They have a cross tire. Plus mud tires are stupid loud going anything above 10mph

Nitto you mean? I have heard mixed reviews about the Terra and Trail Grapplers not sure about the rest. ATs definitely do a lot better in sand and snow. MTs tend to dig and lack siping for ice and wet surfaces.
Bridgestone revo is a solid possibility too.

Iv ran the Terra grapplers and loved them. Not loud and wear was good and even. sorry about the auto correct, this droid has a mind of its own.

I have Hankook muds on the now. Really loud, don't handle very well, and have only average snow and ice grip. Not gonna miss them
