Jim Perry
Passed away on 10/18/08

While not a member of BARF, Jim touched many members' lives.

"Jim Perry was a fixture in the East Bay motorcycle community for decades. Anyone who ever spent a weekend day up at The Wall would have met Jim. Friendly and outgoing, with an easy smile and that distinctive gravelly voice and ready laugh... always ready to talk bikes, and help a rider out, whether it was mechanical advice, or helping them out doing the repairs in his garage, Jim was the kind of guy who was always there and willing to help.

Jim loved riding, he loved socializing, he loved his friends. He was always on the lookout for a newer rider, willing to welcome them into the group up at The Wall, or the gatherings at Pinehurst.

Jim died on a beautiful Fall day, October 18th, 2008, when he crashed on Redwood Road, 3 turns south of Pinehurst, while riding the '83 RZ350 he'd lovingly rebuilt from the ground up.

Jim Perry~ gone from our lives, but never from our hearts."
