Lesley.

Sorry to hear. Laying in bed way on the Peninsula I got nothing for ya. But a bump for the potential save. Hopefully someone is close.

Best man.

POsted in General. Texted Connie but she's been down with Hip Replacement.

Hope someone comes to the rescue.

OK, per an update on the thread in General, Les has a rescue in process. No response to the text I sent, so crossing my fingers that everything's good!

I made it home. I seem to have an old number for Rick at Cycle Tow so I found someone else with a flatbed.

I’m so over gas station air pumps. Two tires because of them. From now on I’ll just use my electric pump at home.

Help buddy's bike broke down in Yosemite Village. If we can get it out of the Park I can pick it up on Sunday.

Is there anyone that loves in the area that can help?

No clutch cable in north cal

Hello! I'm a traveler passing through the bay area and unfortunately my clutch cable snapped while just south of point reyes. I've been able to ride clutch less up to santa rosa but apparently no open shops have a replacement or anything that would work. A stranger said to try this forum and sure enough theres a whole thread for this kind of thing. So here I am asking for help. It's a BMW k75t 86

Hi! I've sent an email, need your phone number, and what the goal is... Is there a parts shop somewhere in the Bay Area that we can haul you and the bike to, or repair shop?
Thanks! :)

Don’t want to chat in this thread but if you’re in Santa Rosa perhaps leave a voicemail at Michaels BMW on Piner. He is the. Only one I think that can get you on the road today or tomorrow. Tell him Gwynne from Citybike recommended him.

two wheel tramp

exploring!
I just shot a message to two friends of mine in the north bay who have BMWs and big garages full of parts. Hopefully we'll get lucky. Fingers crossed!

Edit 1: One already said no. :(

Esdit 2: My friend in N. Petaluma is now looking in his garage. He used to have a K75.

OK, I spoke with Evan. He's hoping we can rustle up a clutch cable for him, something that will be close enough to allow him to get up to Hopland.
He's riding an '86 BMW K75t and it takes a 74 to 76mm clutch cable.
If anyone knows a guy, can you reach out?

Hey G, that number has been disconnected, and I can't find any other numbers for him online... I didn't see anything about him not being in business any longer... any suggestions?
