Coming up on 16 or 17 since I first rode...but didn't really seriously start riding daily until about 10 ago. Sporadic on friends' bikes before that.

In '79 my Dad bought me a well used CB450, told me to get my permit and get a job, lol. So, I did, rode everyday for 15 yrs. Second bike was KZ650. Second wife didn't ride so I just borrowed bikes from time to time for @ 19 yrs. 4 months ago I picked up an '05 Honda 919. Yes I'm still with wife #2. Love this wife and my new bike and now back to riding several times a week. Can't believe I waited so long to get back at it. I will never stop riding again! I am really enjoying this forum and look forward to seeing you all in the twisties.

got my first bike at 19 and rode a lot for 2 years, 20k+ miles in those 2 years. lots of twistys and lost of city riding. I always took the long way home from school even though school was only a couple of miles from my house haha.
Left the country for school for a year. its been about 5 years since i've been back and i only rode about 1-2k miles. Practically no miles in the last 2 years. Looking to get back to riding and riding for a long long time after. It might possibly take a couple of years to get financially ready to get onto another bike but when i do it will be stable riding, few times a week

38 years on both the street -illegally at first as I was 14- and the dirt. I could not imagine not having a moto. That will be a life changer.

Thought I'd re-kindle this thread since I'm new here. I've been riding since I was 8; now I'm 50. So, yeah...42 years. I will ride until I can't throw a leg over any more, and at that point will politely ask somebody dear to me to shoot me in the head.

Since 1973-4. First front wheel asunder from wet limit line, same year. Left turner assistance onto pavement, same year. Drunk making a left over a double yellow, same year. Helmet saved my life first two crashes. Sliding off the car onto hot pipes that peeled skin like a banana was ugly.
