how do these tires look to you?

With the rainy season starting, I'm ready to give up my experiment with these Heidenau K-60's. Having my back tire sliding around on wet pavement like that is too much excitement at my age.

This TKC-80 has been sitting in my garage for a couple years, the date on the tire is 48-16, so late 2016.

Does this look like enough to last until spring (not riding much, no commute these days), or should I just shell out for a fresh pair?

It looks fine though flattened out in the middle which will affect your handling.

I don't know how those knobbies handle in the wet, but my first choice for wet riding would be something like a Michelin Road 5 or similar competitor model.

If it were me, I'd get something much newer and also something that puts down a bigger contact patch.

Manufactures recommend that tires can be stored for 5 years if they
are stored in a cool dry place and out of direct sun light and especially
where no electric motors operate... I cocoon my tires in plastic wrap...

Are we having fun yet?
The TKC-80 has plenty of tread and you're not riding much - why wouldn't it last until spring?

Where's the kick starter?
I third, fourth, fifth the idea of a proper road set of tires if you're riding around in the wet with top heavy bike like the Wee. More contact patch = more safer...

Looks fine to me, just take it easy on the lean angle. When I had a KLR, I had TKCs and never had it slip in the wet. YMMV
