This is how I get to Berryessa/if I have a couple hours to kill. There is nothing really till you get through winters but after that 128 is sweet.

Mt Diablo St Park?

Has anyone done a route through Mt Diablo state park? I'm thinking of riding and exploring that today. Hopefully there is cell service since I don't have a grab and go GPS other than my phone.

I'll try to post the route if it is worth others traveling. If anyone else wants to go let me know. I'm going within the next 30 minutes.

Mt Hamilton, Mines, Calaveras, Sierra. (from the Junction- do a lap on Del Puerto out to Patterson and back for added fun)

I never rode Mt Hamilton. I have lived in the South Bay all my life and have been riding for 17 years. I don't know I just never got around to it.

Inspired by this thread, some extra time on my hands, and the urge to break in the motor on my new S1000RR, I did this ride solo today. I did all parts except the last stretch on Calaveras. Basically, once I hit 680 I took that back to Los Gatos.

The scenery was beautiful! There is some amazing country out there. Quimby has some really tight turns. They are not kidding when they post those 10mph signs!

All in all this route is extremely tight roads and I had a lot of fun. Though, my ass hurts and I have a bit of arm pump (arm pump is really rare for me when I ride). I imagine this route would be a blast on a supermotard. I was dreaming of riding my KTM 525EXC with DOT race tires installed. It was still fun on the BMW, but my body got the beat down. :)

Thanks for the route. Enjoyed it.

:laughing I'm guessing that's not exactly the 121/128 route he was looking for. :laughing Me, I'd shorten that sucker up by grabbing Orr Springs, then Comptche to the coast. :ride

Hi Guys. New to the site but very savvy with forums. I just started creating rides on Google maps BUT it seems kinda cheap and kinda hard. Is this the best way to plan routes and send to iphone for NAV? Save trips and so on?
