Butch, I'll surely take you up on that offer in a couple of months, once I have a few more miles under my belt.

A bit more about myself, I ride because growing up, I've always been fascinated by motorcycles. Yamaha M1/R1 being my "love at first sight" bikes. It only helped that Rossi was on one at the time.
When I was in India, my parents were always worried, so I didn't get one. I did convince then for an Activa (a scooter). Ryder, I did take my friend's Pulsar and R15 for a ride a few times
Now that I'm in the US (5 years now), I have a lot more independence, financially too. I decided to start off easy and work on improving my technique. Naturally, Yamaha R3 was my first on my list, confirmed only by how much I enjoyed my friend's R15. I did get a great deal on a used ABS model, so I picked it up right before covid hit.
